Fall Alert Your Guide to Medical Alerts

Fall alert devices and your routine

by admin on December 6, 2011

Once you have one of these fall alert devices in your home, you should start working it into your routine. You should wear your help button at all times. Anytime you change clothes make sure you make a point of putting your help button back on. When you shower, keep your fall alert devices button on. It’s waterproof and can even be completely submerged in the bath. In order to get help anytime you need it, you do need to wear that button whenever you are at home – at all times! Another change to your routine that should occur is you should test your fall alert devices once a month. Mark it on your calendar- that’s the easiest way to remember. Testing will help make sure that your help button, speaker box, and the way you have everything connected is working properly. Yes, I know that overall these are big changes to your routine, but after a couple of weeks things will become second nature to you!
